Wave Hill Furniture
Designed in 1918 in Utrecht by Dutch cabinet maker
Gerrit T. Rietveld, the chair was originally made of
walnut or oak and had a natural finish. In 1923,
painted versions were available and were used at
the wave hill, in the Bronx. The design was modified
by Lester Collins, in the 1960's, for use in the
gardens at Innisfree, the Millbrook, NY estate of the
late Walter Beck.

I expertly recreated it using the finest materials
available. The wood is western red cedar, so as to
be both insect proof and rot resistant. Fastened with
stainless steel screws, and secured with "the
toughest glue on the planet earth," it's unfinished
chamfered edges, it is still considered one of the
most genuinely modern pieces of furniture ever built
in wood.

I offer a matching ottoman and table
designed(Reitveld inspired) and constructed with the
same high quality materials. With little care this
furniture will give pleasure for decades.
Each wave furniture piece is hand crafted
using the finest materials available.
